Privacy notice

Last updated 13 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data finData holds, where it comes from, why we use it, and how you can make us stop.

Who we are

finData is run by Very Good Software Company LLC. Postal address: finData, 1111B S Governors Ave STE 25998, Dover, DE 19904, USA. Contact: hello@findata.live.

What we hold

Business contact details of company owners and senior staff: name, job title, work email address, company name, company website and country. We also hold public facts about the company, such as its sector, approximate size and founding year. We do not hold home addresses, personal phone numbers or sensitive personal data.

Where it comes from

Where we do not have a published address, we work out the likely format of a work address and check that it can receive mail. That check sends no email to you.

Why we use it

We contact owners and senior staff of established companies about licensing de-identified copies of their business records to AI labs through our data partner. We use your details only for that purpose. In the UK and the EU, our legal basis is legitimate interests: a short business message that is relevant to your role, with an easy way to opt out.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

This website

This site sets no cookies and has no analytics or tracking. The valuation runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us unless you send the email that it prepares. Our host, Cloudflare, may keep standard request logs for security. Our emails contain no tracking pixels and no tracked links.

How long we keep it

We keep contact data for no more than 12 months. If you opt out, we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so that we never write to you again.

Your choices and rights

To stop all emails, reply "no" to any message, or write to hello@findata.live. We act on it at once. You can also ask us to show, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to its use. If you are in the UK or the EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
